My pride and joy is my restored and modified 1968 Mustang. When it was time to do the most important part, putting in a 4-speed Top-Loader transmission with Hurst competition shifter, I did not think twice about where to go to have it worked on. The transmission was not a complete bolt-on and required custom rods that controlled the gears. Pete did not give up or even show signs of frustration - he did his job to the fullest with passion, dedication and precision. This car goes to many car shows on a regular basis and has won well over 50 awards in 2 years. It takes a lot to meet my standard of quality, and Pete took on my challenge and has never let me down. He takes care of the car as if it was his own. There have only been 3 people that I have trusted to drive my pride and joy: my father, myself, and Pete Acevedo.
